Site Agent – Overview
Deanston Cooper’s client, a highly respected civil engineering contractor known for low staff turnover, seeks a Site Agent to manage projects across the Central Belt, including infrastructure, substations, and wind farms.
Responsibilities- Manage and optimise the construction programme.
- Control and minimise construction costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives.
- Lead on-site safety management for all activities, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the site team while developing strategy as required.
- Manage the supply chain.
- Minimum qualification of an HND in Civil Engineering.
- Sub Agent or Site Agent experience with a civil engineering contractor.
- At least 5 years of experience on diverse civil engineering or energy projects.
- Knowledge of safety legislation.
- Positive, proactive problem‑solving attitude.
- Strong commercial awareness.
Salary: GBP 50,000 – 65,000 per year.
Experience required: 5 years.
