Job Description & How to Apply Below

An experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join the commercial team of one of the UK's fastest-growing infrastructure and energy contractors.

Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, you will take commercial ownership of major infrastructure, energy and utilities projects across Scotland, supporting project delivery from procurement through to final account. This is a key appointment within a growing business that continues to secure long-term frameworks and high-value projects across the energy transition, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of commercial management including cost control, forecasting, CVRs, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, compensation events, claims and final accounts. Working closely with operational teams, clients and stakeholders, you will play an integral role in driving project performance, managing risk and maximising commercial outcomes.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor ready to step into a Senior role, or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to progress within a business experiencing significant growth. Beyond the day-to-day management of projects, you will have the opportunity to help shape commercial best practice, mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued development of a high-performing commercial function.

You will have a strong commercial background gained within utilities, energy, infrastructure, civils, engineering or major construction projects, together with experience administering contracts, managing change and leading commercial activities on live projects. NEC3/NEC4 experience would be highly advantageous.

If you're looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of major projects, develop your career within a rapidly expanding organisation and play a key role in delivering nationally significant infrastructure schemes, this is an excellent opportunity to further your career.
