Network Rail is hiring a Building Surveyor for the North-West route, covering the Cumbrian region from Carnforth to Carlisle. You will assess the condition, safety and compliance of railway buildings and lineside assets, conducting visual and detailed inspections of roofing, cladding, masonry, and drainage systems.
You will produce clear survey reports, assign condition scores and maintenance recommendations, working closely with Works Delivery teams, Project Managers, designers and contractors
