Senior Estimator

Glasgow | £65,000–£70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension

Contract Scotland is delighted to be partnering with a respected and expanding fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator for its Glasgow office.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in producing accurate, competitive tenders and helping secure a diverse portfolio of exciting projects.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Obtaining, assessing, and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
  • Supporting bid strategy and tender planning with the Estimating Manager
  • Working closely with commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process
  • Managing multiple tenders while meeting tight deadlines
What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced estimator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, commercially competitive tenders.

You'll also have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or an experienced Estimator ready for the next challenge
  • A background in construction, fit-out, civil engineering, or infrastructure
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
