Your new role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of professional and project-led services. You will be involved in a diverse mix of projects including:
Refurbishment and redevelopment of commercial offices, retail units, and mixed-use schemes
Condition surveys and lifecycle assessments across varied property portfolios
Dilapidations (acting for both landlord and tenant) on high-value commercial assets
Contract administration and project management for fit-outs, renovations, and upgrades
Technical due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
Work on historic and listed buildings, requiring a sensitive and informed approach.
Insurance reinstatement projects following damage
This is a client-facing position where you will manage instructions from inception to completion, providing expert advice while building strong and lasting client relationships.
What you'll need to succeedMRICS qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience in building surveying, ideally across a mix of professional services and project work Strong technical knowledge of construction, building pathology, and contract administration
Experience handling commercial property instructions is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Full UK driving licence
