The Trainee Estimator / Quantity Surveyor should already have a foundational set of knowledge and credentials in quantity surveying as a graduate with ideally between 1- 3 years working as a junior or assistant estimator / surveyor with a degree in Estimating / Quantity Surveying (desirable).
For the Trainee Estimator / Quantity Surveyor they will consider someone with no experience who has just qualified with construction / Estimating or Quantity Surveying degree or someone pursuing a career as a Estimator / Quantity Surveyor. The Trainee Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Duties:
Cost estimation, takes offs, tendering, contract management, risk assessment, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the required standards.
