Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well:established UKAS:accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join their team in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual:qualified asbestos professional looking for a varied role covering Glasgow and the wider Central Belt. The successful candidate will undertake a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties.

- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and
D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
264 - Undertaking air monitoring and four:stage clearances in accordance with HSG
248 - Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, and personal air testing
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector sites
- Managing your own diary and workload effectively
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst
- Strong understanding of HSG
264, HSG
248, and current asbestos legislation - Experience working within a UKAS:accredited consultancy is desirable
- Confident managing a field:based workload independently
- Strong communication and report:writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
- Genuine dual surveying and analytical position
