Senior Quantity Surveyor

Find Core are thrilled to be assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy with the recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and feasibility studies.
• Manage procurement exercises, tender documentation and tender analysis.
• Produce cost reports, valuations and payment recommendations.
• Maintain effective financial control throughout each project.
• Lead value engineering, risk management and change-control processes.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts.
• Manage projects from initial feasibility through to completion.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Mentor junior surveyors and support their professional development.
• Contribute to business development and help secure new opportunities.

Skills & Experience

• MRICS Chartered status.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
