We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of construction, refurbishment, and CAT A/CAT B fit-out projects across multiple sectors.
Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, you will ensure delivery is safe, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, and company procedures.
- Develop and manage project programmes, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Lead project and site meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare progress reports, project updates, and programme information.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and project teams.
- Interpret contract documentation, drawings, specifications, and technical information.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure performance, quality, compliance, and programme targets are achieved.
- Coordinate site teams and provide leadership and support where required.
- Monitor project costs, variations, forecasting, and overall profitability.
- Support valuations, final accounts, and commercial project performance.
- Oversee procurement schedules and ensure materials are delivered in line with programme requirements.
- Review supplier and subcontractor invoices.
- Assist with tender and estimate preparation when required.
- Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed and defects are resolved promptly.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- CITB Temporary Works Coordinator (TWCTC).
- Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience delivering commercial, fit-out, refurbishment, or design & build projects.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and project costs.
- Full UK driving licence.
