About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic

Entry Level Materials Site Technician to join our team based in Drigg, Cumbria.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a long-term career within the construction materials testing industry. No previous materials testing experience is required e'll provide full training and support to help you develop specialist skills whilst working on major construction and infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll be carrying out sampling and testing of construction materials including concrete, soils and aggregates. If you enjoy practical work, being outdoors and learning new skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note:Due to the location of this role, applicants should live within approximately
30 miles of Drigg (CA19 1XP
)and hold afull UK manual driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out on-site sampling and testing of construction materials including soils, concrete, aggregates and asphalt.
  • Learn and follow industry testing standards and company procedures.
  • Accurately record test results and site information.
  • Assist with setting up, calibrating and maintaining testing equipment.
  • Work closely with experienced Technicians on major construction projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and daily site logs.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Travel to different sites as required.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy and safety at all times.
