Site Supervisor - Kalzip Roofing & Cladding
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee roofing and cladding works on site, with a particular focus on Kalzip roofing systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating a team of roofers and cladders, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage roofing and cladding operatives on site.
- Oversee the installation of Kalzip roofing systems and associated roofing packages.
- Coordinate daily site activities and allocate labour effectively.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and maintain high standards of quality.
- Carry out toolbox talks, site briefings and daily safety checks.
- Ensure RAMS and site Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and other trades.
- Monitor progress against programme and report any delays or issues.
- Coordinate materials, plant and equipment required for roofing and cladding works.
- Manage snagging and ensure defects are rectified promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records and progress updates.
- Support the delivery of the roofing and cladding package through to completion and handover.
- Previous experience supervising roofing and cladding teams.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Kalzip roofing systems.
- Experience working with standing seam metal roofing systems.
- Good understanding of cladding and associated envelope works.
- Proven ability to manage teams of roofers and cladders.
- Strong Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and site coordination skills.
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
- CSCS card required.
- Relevant roofing/cladding experience essential.
The ideal candidate will be a practical, experienced roofing professional who can confidently manage operatives on site while maintaining programme, quality and Health & Safety standards.
