Key Responsibilities and Impact
- Assist with setting up shoots, crew bookings, travel logistics and call sheets.
- Support budget management and accurately track expenditure.
- Collate accurate information to complete post‑production documentation.
- Work on‑location, in studios, and across BBC offices.
- Learn best practices in health & safety, compliance and sustainability.
- Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and negotiating skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

This scheme is aimed at non‑graduates. If you hold a degree, we encourage you to explore other BBC apprenticeship schemes.
Eligibility Criteria- Be 18 years old or over by the start of the apprenticeship in September 2026.
- Legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
- For candidates under 19, hold Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) or achieve these before the end‑point assessment.
To apply, you must be passionate about production management and be ready to commit to the 17‑month programme. No prior qualifications are required; a portfolio of work may be submitted in lieu of formal qualifications for eligible candidates.
