Remnant Christian Network Glasgow is a faith-based organisation committed to raising a people of prayer, revival, and sound biblical teaching, with a strong emphasis on transformative worship.

Due to the need to maintain a high standard of worship and structured music ministry, we are seeking a Volunteer Music Pastor to lead and develop the church’s worship life.

This role is essential to:

• Coordinate and lead worship services
• Develop and train the music team
• Ensure consistency and spiritual depth in worship delivery
• Support the church’s vision through music ministry

• Job Title: Volunteer Music Pastor
• Location: 425 Govan Road, Glasgow
• Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
• Salary: Volunteer role (non-salaried; maintenance provided where applicable in line with sponsorship requirements)

Worship & Music Leadership

• Lead and coordinate worship during services and special programmes
• Plan and structure worship sets aligned with ministry themes
• Organise and lead rehearsals for choir and instrumentalists
• Train and mentor worship team members
• Maintain high musical and spiritual standards

Ministry Support

• Work with pastoral leadership to support overall church vision
• Contribute to prayer meetings and spiritual activities
• Support outreach programmes through music ministry

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated Christian faith and commitment to biblical teachings
• Strong musical ability (vocal and/or instrumental)
• Proven experience in leading worship
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team

Desirable

• Theological training or ministry certification
• Experience directing choirs or bands
• Familiarity with contemporary and traditional worship styles
