Position Overview
Musical Theatre
Fixed Term until July 2027, 0.5 FTE, annualised
Salary Scale: £43,700 (£21,850 pro rata per annum)
RoleDiscipline Lead for Dance in Musical Theatre. The role works closely with the Head and Associate Head of Musical Theatre.
Candidate ProfileSomeone who champions excellence, creativity, and innovation, and is committed to nurturing diverse voices and supporting students to realise their full potential as artists and creative citizens.
Responsibilities- Design, deliver, and develop undergraduate dance provision within the Musical Theatre department.
- Oversee effective management of resources.
- Contribute specialist teaching and/or choreography to support the delivery of dance provision across the Conservatoire.
- Experience as a musical theatre dance educator in HE/Conservatoire settings.
- Expertise in teaching, curriculum development, and student support.
- Ability to lead and manage curriculum and creative projects effectively.
- Industry relevant professional credits as a dancer and/or choreographer within musical theatre (advantageous).
PVG Registration is required for this post.
