Casting Researcher

STV Studios is looking for an Experienced Casting Researcher to join the team on a returning quiz show series.

Monday 17th August (can be slightly flexible for the right candidate) End Date:

Role is FT in the office/studio in Glasgow

STV Studios is looking for an experienced and confident Casting Researcher with a love of bringing great personalities to TV. This role is for someone who’s confident in outreach and thrives on finding diverse and engaging contributors. Previous quiz casting is preferable. Researchers must be experiences, with a minimum of 2 previous Casting Researcher credits. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to build strong relationships with a wide range of contributors.

• Targeting and outreach to generate applications
• Conducting casting calls and zoom interviews
• Cutting casting tapes to pitch teams
• Writing contestant or contributor biographies
• Conducting background checks
