Customer Service Advisor | S1 | Banking

Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to operate from our Glasgow and Belfast Contact Centres. This role will provide the first line of support to customers over the phone, handling a wide range of enquiries in a high‑volume environment while maintaining an empathetic and proactive approach.

Locations:
Glasgow and Belfast Contact Centres.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 20:00pm.

6th July (please only apply if this date is suitable).

• Act as the first point of contact for customers over the phone.
• Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing.
• Update customer records accurately.
• Help keep customers and the bank safe.
• Build relationships and find solutions to customer needs.
• Develop knowledge of services and products to better support customers.
• Identify new ways to improve the customer experience.

Professional Experience

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, either face‑to‑face or via telephony. Prior financial services experience is not essential.
• Strong listening and communication skills to understand customer needs.

• Effective team working skills with a flexible, can‑do approach.
• Ability to follow process while thinking on your feet.
• Openness to a broad range of activities, even outside standard expectations.

• Salary: £25,000.00 – £31,579.00 per annum (based on experience).
• £500 annual cash allowance for benefits.

Roles are site‑based with a hybrid working pattern. Colleagues are expected to attend the office at least 12 days per month (pro‑rata for part‑time). Applicants should consider travel distance, time and cost to the selected office location.
