Mitie – Mobile Support Host
Payrate: £14 per hour
Coverage:
Scotland (North region support)

The Mobile Support Team Member is a flexible, highly adaptable service professional who provides front‑of‑house and workplace support across multiple sites, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality experience for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a confident, professional first point of contact across multiple sites.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while creating positive and memorable experiences.
- Adapt quickly to different environments, teams, and client expectations.
- Build rapport with colleagues and clients, even in short time frames.
- Ensure every arrival, interaction and farewell is seamless and professional.
- Provide front‑of‑house support, including visitor management and reception duties.
- Manage visitor systems and support access processes.
- Support meeting room setups, events and workplace activities.
- Conduct floor walks and identify issues requiring attention.
- Liaise with on‑site teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Support mailroom, admin and workplace coordination tasks when required.
- Maintain consistency in service quality across all sites.
- Identify and address service gaps quickly and effectively.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work safely in line with Mitie QHSE policies.
- Report incidents, risks or near misses promptly.
- Support emergency procedures and site compliance requirements.
- Maintain professional presentation and behaviour at all times.
- Required to travel regularly between sites, including occasional overnight stays.
- Travel across the North region and sometimes as far as Scotland.
- Confidence and comfort using public transport is essential.
- Travel within your home city is self‑funded.
- Travel beyond your home city:
Mitie will cover all additional travel costs and pay for additional travel time beyond a 1‑hour standard commute time there and back.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to travel regularly between sites.
- Flexibility with start and finish times.
- Flexible with locations and working hours.
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.).
- Willingness to obtain or hold a valid SIA licence.
- Willingness to complete and maintain any required site‑specific clearances.
- Guaranteed 16 hours per week plus overtime.
