Purpose of the Role

This role ensures smooth and safe delivery of dental treatments at the Glasgow Clinic
, supporting dentists and specialists while guaranteeing high standards of patient care, infection control, and efficiency in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside assistance to dentists during treatments.
  • Strict compliance with cross-infection control and sterilisation protocols.
  • Efficient rotation across multiple surgeries in a large-scale dental hospital.
  • Accurate recordkeeping, use of dental software (Exact / Dentally).
  • Supporting onboarding and integration of patients in a warm and professional way.
  • Collaborating with the wider team of nurses, dentists, and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Requirements:
Competencies & Skills Education
  • Qualified Dental Nurse.
  • Training in dental nursing, healthcare, or related fields is desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-6 months of experience in dental nursing or a similar clinical support role.
  • Previous work in fast-paced clinical environments is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Familiarity with Exact dental software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and chairside support procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability and flexibility to work shifts between 9:00 - 19:00, Monday to Friday (36-40 hours per week, with potential extra shifts).
