As a Sedation Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting dentists and implant surgeons during sedation and surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical care throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities- Chairside support during sedation, surgical, and implant procedures
- Monitoring and assisting patients before, during, and after treatment
- Maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and cross‑infection control
- Preparing and maintaining surgical and sedation equipment
- Supporting patient journeys from consultation through recovery
- Accurate record‑keeping using dental software (Dentally)
- Working closely with dentists, surgeons, nurses, and front‑of‑house teams
- Supporting a safe, compliant, and patient‑focused clinical environment
- Qualified Dental Nurse certification
- Sedation Nurse qualification and/or proven experience supporting sedation procedures
- Experience working in oral surgery, implant dentistry, or advanced clinical procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Flexibility to work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday rota participation
- A reliable, proactive, and team‑oriented approach
- Role‑based in Glasgow, Scotland
- Clinic operates Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday rotation
- Full‑time schedule (36–40 hours per week)
- Competitive hourly rate (£17–£18 per hour depending on experience)
