Overview

A great opportunity to progress your evaluation career, joining the growing team of specialists delivering diverse and meaningful evaluation projects across public services and the third sector.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the design and delivery of a varied portfolio of evaluation projects covering mental health, arts & culture, public health and housing.
  • Apply evaluation approaches and participatory methods such as Outcome Mapping, Outcome Harvesting, Appreciative Inquiry, Most Significant Change and Ripple Effect Mapping.
  • Select and adapt different evaluation frameworks (Realist, Developmental, Empowerment, Participatory) to suit project needs.
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative research methods and integrate multiple sources of evidence to generate actionable insights.
  • Pitch proposals, write compelling proposals and nurture client relationships as part of a commercially aware and client‑focused service.
  • Act as a proficient project manager, managing multiple evaluations simultaneously.
Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and delivering evaluation projects across public services and third sector sectors such as mental health, arts & culture, public health and housing.
  • Proficiency in applying participatory evaluation methods and understanding of frameworks including Realist, Developmental, Empowerment and Participatory.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, able to integrate multiple evidence sources.
  • Commercial awareness and experience in pitching, proposal writing and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
