Job Description

Due to expanding workload, AECOM is recruiting architecture professionals to join our rapidly growing team in Manchester, Warrington & Glasgow. The role focuses on projects within the nuclear industry.

• Strong design and technical ability with high computer literacy.
• Strong Revit skills (required) and BIM awareness.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Architectural or technical qualifications relevant to the role.
• Experience in design and project management within regulated industries, including industrial, process‑driven and highly serviced projects.
• Relevant experience on nuclear and MOD projects.

• Fully qualified architect (ARB Registered).
• Proven related architecture experience.
• Recent experience on Security and Nuclear Power projects (SC clearance required).
• Experience with various forms of building contracts.
• Working knowledge of building systems, regulations and construction types.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines.
• Work experience within a consultancy or similar business.

• Security clearance: you must either hold or be able to obtain BPSS and SC clearance, and be eligible for UK clearance if not already held.
• Eligibility for security clearance requires you to have lived in the UK for more than 5 years and not be absent from the country for more than 3 months in a 5‑year period.
• Revit test will be part of the interview process.
