Are you an experienced MEP Revit / BIM Technician looking for the opportunity to work on a diverse range of technically interesting projects?
I’m currently working with an established and growing MEP consultancy in Glasgow who are looking to add an experienced Revit / BIM Technician to their team in Scotland.
You’ll be joining a business working across an exciting portfolio of projects, including Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), hotels, offices, commercial developments and other high-profile building projects.
The RoleWorking closely with the wider MEP design team, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality BIM and Revit models and drawings across a variety of building services projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing detailed MEP models and drawings using Revit
- Supporting engineers with the development and coordination of building services designs
- Working across mechanical, electrical and public health services
- Developing coordinated BIM models throughout the project lifecycle
- Producing technical drawings, layouts and documentation
- Working alongside engineers, architects and other design disciplines
- Participating in design coordination and resolving clashes
- Ensuring models and drawings meet project and company standards
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience working as an MEP, Building Services or BIM/Revit Technician
- Experience working within an MEP consultancy or similar design environment
- Good understanding of building services design and coordination
- Experience working with BIM processes and standards
- The ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other disciplines
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
