Applications are invited for 2 Consultant Urological Surgeons with a speciality interest in Core Urology and Benign Prostate Enlargement Services.
This post may close early to the volume of response.
Key Responsibilities- The successful applicant must be experienced in dealing with all aspects of core urology.
- Other sub-specialty interests would be considered if they complement the department’s spread of activity.
- The out of hours commitment will be a 1 in 11 on-call rota.
- You should be an appropriately trained individual who is able to provide a urological service at consultant level.
- The elective sessions relating to the post will be delivered from the QEUH, Victoria Ambulatory Care Facility and Gartnavel General Hospital.
- Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
- Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview.
- CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once CESR is awarded.
- Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
- Shift pattern for this post is Full Time. Salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
- The jobs are offered as full-time posts on a 10 PA basis.
