Senior Veterinary Surgeon / Clinical Lead
Location: South Wales
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Up to 4 days per week
Hours: 38 hours over 4 days
Salary: Up to £75,000, dependent on experience

Leadership opportunity
The Role:- Join a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital
- Play a key role within the clinical team and help shape the future direction of the practice
- Deliver exceptional patient care across a diverse medical and surgical caseload
- Help develop and maintain high clinical standards
- Mentor and support colleagues
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence
- Lead through collaboration while remaining clinically engaged
- Share knowledge and experience with the wider team
- Support high standards of patient and client care
- Protected time provided for leadership and administrative responsibilities
- Leadership responsibilities expected to account for approximately 10% of the working week
- Predominantly clinical role
- Combination of first-opinion practice and hospital-based medicine
- Hospital-based surgery
- Inpatient care
- Emergency and critical care work
- Varied medical and surgical caseload
- Excellent opportunity to develop and pursue individual clinical interests
- Up to 4 days per week
- 38 hours across 4 days
- 1 x 9-hour weekend shift every fifth weekend, mainly consulting
- 1 x 12-hour bank holiday shift per year
- Flexible working options considered
