MEDICAL APPRAISER ()

Substantive/ Fixed Term depending on preference, Secondments welcome

Up to 3 sessions per week (or a fraction of this dependent on preference)

• AA00-AA01 salary depending on experience
• Salary Range £124,020 - £129,093 per annum (pro rata)
• Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata)
• Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available
• (DIA and Relocation only applicable to staff relocating to Shetland)

We are looking for qualified appraisers to support our 70-80 doctors attached to NHS Shetland. We have resident doctors at varying stages of their training, SAS grade doctors, substantive and locum GPs and consultants who work in a variety of interesting places around the UK and internationally. It is a welcoming group who understand the challenges of remote and rural healthcare and the importance of the NHS to the population.
