The Out of Hours Primary Care (GMED) team is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Bank General Practitioners to join our dynamic and responsive service.

The service operates during weekdays, throughout weekends, and on public holidays, delivering safe, high quality and person centred care across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray.

As a Bank GP within GMED, you will provide a full range of general medical services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and onward referral. You will work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead, Service Manager and wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person centred care. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service.
GMED is committed to education, training and workforce development. As a teaching service, we regularly support medical students, GP Specialty Trainees and Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Paramedics undertaking training and development within urgent care. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to teaching, clinical supervision, mentorship and the development of the future workforce, appropriate to their experience and role.
