The RoleWe’re looking for an organised, enthusiastic Training Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of a range of short training programmes (typically two weeks in length). Based in a hybrid role and working mainly across Scotland’s Central Belt, you’ll be a key point of contact ensuring programmes run smoothly from planning through to completion. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role—perfect for someone who loves juggling details, supporting others, and making things happen behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate multiple short training programmes across Scotland
- Communicate clearly and confidently with course participants
- Book venues and manage logistics
- Distribute course information to trainers, participants, and stakeholders
- Provide administrative and practical support during programme delivery
Support trainers with their day‑to‑day programme requirements - Document programmes and maintain accurate records
- Identify paid and voluntary opportunities throughout the events sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A welcoming, friendly, and professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills, work ethic and attention to detail
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusivity best practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and social media platforms
- High levels of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude
- Ability to use own initiative
- Interest or experience in employability programmes
- Connections to, or experience within, the events sector
- £16–£18 per hour, depending on experience
- Contract‑based, typically 24 hrs per week
