Are you highly organised, with a real understanding of SEND? Do you have the attention to detail and the judgement needed to make sure every young person’s support plan is accurate, clear, and followed through?

At New Meaning Training, we work with young people who haven’t always had a straightforward experience of education. Some have been misunderstood, some have disengaged, and some are still figuring out where they fit. What we offer is something different — a place where expectations are clear, where things feel steady, and where young people are given the chance to get back on track.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand within our SEND provision, we are expanding the team and recruiting two SENCo Administrators. Please note – this job advert relates to the role in Warwickshire. If you’re interested in the role in High Wycombe .

This role sits right at the centre of that work. You’ll take ownership of the EHCP Annual Review process — making sure reviews happen on time, information is accurate, and everyone involved has what they need.

That means chairing reviews, working closely with Tutors, and liaising with local authorities and external agencies. It’s detailed, structured work, but it has a direct impact on whether young people get the right support in place.

You’re not just managing paperwork. You’re helping make sure that what’s agreed actually works in practice.

If you have experience in SEND and you’re comfortable handling responsibility, navigating complexity, and keeping things moving, you’ll fit well here. It’s an important role within our Learning and Development team, and a chance to contribute to something that is steadily growing and changing what education can look like for the young people we work with.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the direct-funded EHCP Annual Review process:
Schedule reviews within 12-month cycles and ensure all statutory deadlines are met. Lead the Review Cycle:
Liaise with Tutors to gather input, propose amendments to EHCPs that reflect current needs, and invite all relevant parties and external agencies.
  • Chair Meetings:
Facilitate annual reviews, ensuring the voices of the young person and their support network are heard.
  • Data and Paperwork Mastery:
Complete and submit all local authority paperwork promptly and accurately, maintaining 100% compliance.
  • Support the SENCo Manager:
Assist in tracking learner progress, monitoring SMART targets, and ensuring delivery of agreed provisions.
  • Stakeholder Liaison:
Maintain clear, professional communication with referral partners and external agency services.
  • System Management:
Implement and maintain effective data collection and monitoring systems relating to SEND provision.

About us

New Meaning Training offers education with a difference.

We work with young people aged 15–25 who haven’t always had a straightforward experience of education. Some have been misunderstood, some have disengaged, and some are still working out where they fit. What they find here is something steadier — a place where there’s time to settle in, where expectations are clear, and where they’re not judged on what’s gone before.
