FTE – Carshalton College: 32.4 hours a week over 52 weeks a year, £33,292 - £35,709 per annum.
1x 0.5
FTE – Merton College: 18 hours a week over 52 weeks a year, £18,496 - £19,838 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employability Coordinator to join our Employability team at Carshalton and Merton Colleges.
Key Responsibilities- Build on existing external employer partnerships and develop new ones.
- Oversee the monitoring and organization of Work Placements and Employability activities for full‑time learners.
- Ensure Study Programme/T‑Level learners gain meaningful work experience/industry placements.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and practices and monitor and record work experience/placements on college systems.
- Develop proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work well under pressure, meet agreed deadlines, be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, and employ a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ideally hold a degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject.
- Active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries.
Eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review implemented in the new academic year.
