1x 0.5

FTE – Merton College: 18 hours a week over 52 weeks a year, £18,496 - £19,838 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employability Coordinator to join our Employability team at Carshalton and Merton Colleges.

• Build on existing external employer partnerships and develop new ones.
• Oversee the monitoring and organization of Work Placements and Employability activities for full‑time learners.
• Ensure Study Programme/T‑Level learners gain meaningful work experience/industry placements.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and practices and monitor and record work experience/placements on college systems.
• Develop proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work well under pressure, meet agreed deadlines, be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, and employ a creative approach to problem solving.

• Ideally hold a degree or relevant professional qualifications in an appropriate subject.
• Active and experienced in generating employer links across a wide range of industries.

Eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review implemented in the new academic year.
