Job Purpose
To contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by undertaking a range of teaching, assessment and administrative duties, principally at undergraduate level, as requested by the Programme Director/Head of Subject, in order to contribute to learning and teaching objectives in The School of Law.
Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesA1 SCQF Level 10 Honours degree in a relevant subject or a cognate discipline, or equivalent
A2 Professional teaching qualification or working towards one
A3 Specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of the required subject
Skills & ExperienceEssential
C1 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
C2 Ability to accept collegiate responsibilities and act accordingly
Experience
Essential
E1 Relevant experience of teaching
E2 Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Desirable
F1 Relevant administrative experience e.g. Student support, course administration etc.
Terms and ConditionsSalary will be Grade 6, £33,951 - £37,694 per annum pro rata.
This post is offered on a fractional basis and is fixed term.
