Whowe need
We require a full-time Learning & Skills Trainer to deliver a high standard of sales training to our national cohorts of Sales Executive apprentices. Key duties of the role include:
- Plan, prepare, design and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in the specialist area of Sales Executive supporting our brand partners
- Ensure apprentices cover the relevant knowledge, skills, and behaviours of their vocational area, to meet their end point assessment
- Create individual learning plans for apprentices and be responsible for providing blended learning opportunities for all apprentices, ensuring any additional learning needs are met to provide an inclusive learning environment
- Managing the learner journey using One File and college systems to record off-the-job hours, assignments, eLearning and progress
- Motivate and inspire all apprentices so that they are supported to achieve excellence and are encouraged to achieve their full potential including higher grades
- Able to work at all levels and able to deliver reports to a range of stakeholders on apprentice progress
You will have experience of being a trainer or have experience working within the automotive industry in a sales or similar role. Essential skills and experience include:
- Hold a recognised subject related qualification at Level 3 or above, or have documented industry occupational competence/experience in the subject area
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or be willing to work towards
- Hold recognised Assessor Award (D32/A/CAVA) and Verifier Award (D33/D34, IQA) or be willing to work towards
- Have experience of successful team working and be committed to a team-based approach
- Be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of others and those training especially students with different needs.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills with excellent timekeeping and attendance
