We're working with welcoming secondary schools in Brent looking for a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their team. What you’ll be doing- Teaching Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering engaging, well-planned lessons that develop computational thinking and inspire a love of technology
- Teaching topics such as programming, algorithms, computer systems and digital literacy
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels encouraged to succeed
- Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping pupils reach their full potential
- Supporting students to develop practical coding and problem-solving skills
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to the wider life of the school
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- A degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computing or a related subject
- Experience teaching Computer Science or Computing within a secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills - A genuine commitment to helping young people develop confidence and achieve their best
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
