Level 6 Early Years Practitioner
ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for a Level 6 Early Years Practitioner for a diverse Primary school in Croydon, South London. This school is a welcoming two form-entry school which has a supportive senior leadership team, is committed to continuous improvement and professional development for all staff. The school is dedicated to providing an engaging and nurturing environment for both children and staff.
This position is ideal for a highly qualified Level 6 Early Years Practitioner with a childcare or early years-related degree. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for early childhood education, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across the Early Years provision. The school seeks someone who can effectively support and motivate staff, inspiring the Early Years team to deliver outstanding practice and ensure that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.
This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, subject to performance.

- BA Degree within Childcare, Early years, Education or the equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Early Years
- Proven experience in managing behaviour and creating a nurturing, positive learning environment
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in Early Years education
- Experience working with children with SEN and EAL
- Up to date safeguarding training
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
