Role SummaryYou will need to:
- Work well as part of a team as well as independently and be able to use your initiative.
- Have excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents.
- Carry out the cleaning of the interior of the school to an agreed standard under the direction of the Site Manager/Cleaner in Charge.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene of the school premises.
- Is patient, calm, and approachable
- Is caring and has a child‑focused attitude
- Is friendly and has an encouraging manner
- Is fair and consistent when dealing with children
- Is reliable and punctual
- Is confident yet gentle with a gently authority
- Has the ability to manage behaviour positively and appropriately
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team
