Day Shift Team Leader – Energy from Waste
£65,000 + bonus + overtime + private medical + pension
Glasgow, Scotland
SCINERGY Recruitment is supporting a leading Energy from Waste operator in the recruitment of a Day Shift Team Leader for its established power generation facility in Glasgow.
This is a key operational leadership position responsible for managing the day shift team, overseeing the site permit office and acting as the lead Senior Authorised Person. You will ensure plant activities are planned and delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with environmental and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day operations team, prioritising workloads to support plant availability and performance
- Act as the site's lead Senior Authorised Person and provide day-shift SAP cover
- Oversee the permit office, isolations and safety documentation
- Coordinate operational and maintenance activities involving site employees and contractors
- Act as lead SAP during planned outages
- Ensure compliance with the site's environmental permit and all relevant health and safety requirements
