Multitask Personnel are working with a leading utilities provider to recruit Meter Readers in the Glasgow area.
This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent opportunity following the initial contract period.
If you enjoy working independently, being outdoors and having control of your own daily workload, this could be a great opportunity.
The Role- Visit homes and businesses to take accurate meter readings
- Carry out visual checks on metering equipment
- Record information using a mobile app
- Manage your own schedule and workload
- Speak with customers in a friendly and professional manner
We are looking for reliable, customer-focused people who are comfortable working independently.
You will enjoy being out and about each day, be confident speaking with customers and be able to organise your own workload effectively.
Requirements- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Access to your own vehicle for work
- Valid MOT where applicable
- Business insurance or willingness to obtain it
- Must live in Glasgowor the surrounding area
- Able to pass a basic DBS check
- Able to provide 5 years of work references
- Customer service or field-based experience
- Using mobile apps or handheld devices
- Awareness of GDPR and confidentiality
- Experience managing your own workload
- £13.45 per hour
