Job Type: 12 month contract outside of IR35

A well‑established engineering firm specialising in the design and delivery of complex rotating equipment and handling systems is looking to hire a Senior EC&I Engineer on a long‑term outside IR35 contract (initial 12 month duration). You’ll join a highly skilled team working on a strong pipeline of projects in the energy and industrial sectors. This is a hybrid role (3 days on‑site, 2 remote) based in Glasgow.

• Proven EC&I engineering background within heavy industrial environments.
• Solid knowledge of MV motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
• Experience with skid‑mounted/package units (instrument hook‑up, loop checks, cabling, glands, JBs).
• Familiarity with machine monitoring systems (e.g., Bently Nevada).
• Strong documentation and drawing skills (AutoCAD, P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, panel layouts, etc.).

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must be British nationals, holding either a British passport or dual citizenship.
