About the JobWe are looking for a Graduate Apprentice Systems Engineer to join our motivated and creative team in our Glasgow Hub. This is a unique opportunity for you to gain practical experience, earn a salary, and achieve a fully funded BEng (Honours) degree in Engineering:
Design and Manufacture at SCQF Level 10.
As a Graduate Apprentice with ITI Group, you will have a tailored development plan over a 4-year period to support your development and career progression.
SalaryUp to £22,500.
Summary Of Role And Responsibilities- Assist in the design, development, program and test of mission critical innovative solutions under the guidance of more experienced Engineers.
- Work as an integral team member contributing to the resolution of hardware and software challenges.
- Support in the design and configuration of cyber-secure infrastructure and communications between solution components using industry standard protocols.
- Support the installation and commissioning of solutions on customer sites.
- Work towards the successful completion of your Apprenticeship Qualification.
This structured 4-year Graduate Apprenticeship program combines work-based learning with academic study. Our graduate apprenticeships are delivered in partnership with leading apprenticeship providers, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-life projects, develop your technical skills, and study to complete a recognised qualification in a BEng (Honours) degree in Engineering:
Design and Manufacture.
UCAS Tariff: equally at least 96
Scottish Higher: BBCC or equivalent incl Higher in Maths and a Science or Technology
Skills And Experience- An interest in systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- An interest in electrical concepts and manufacturing processes.
- A strong aptitude for hands on technical work is desirable.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft software products is desirable.
- Candidates must be able to prove they have the right to work in Scotland.
- Candidates may be required to achieve appropriate security and medical clearances; these will be instigated on receiving a conditional offer of employment.
