Medical Field Service Engineer, MRI Imaging

As a Medical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, repair, breakdown and maintenance of MRI magnetic resonance imaging systems located at hospitals and healthcare centres throughout Scotland. You will provide on‑site support, troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal system performance.

• Service, repair, breakdown and maintenance of MRI systems
• Provide on‑site customer support and troubleshooting
• Perform preventive maintenance and adhere to quality standards
• Log work orders and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams for complex repair tasks

• Field service engineering experience in medical devices, imaging, laboratory equipment, semiconductor, or ex HM Forces radar & weapons systems preferred; no medical experience required
• Strong customer service skills and a confident, professional manner in customer‑facing environments
• Experience with electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Willingness to receive comprehensive product training
• Ability to travel within the Central Belt areas (Glasgow, Livingston, Cumbernauld, Motherwell, East Kilbride)
