Are you ready to take the next step in your water safety career? At Normec Group, we’re on a mission to create smarter, safer environments—and we’re looking for a dedicated Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Safety Consultant to join our expert technical team at our Westfield Caledonian business.

Based in Scotland’s Central Belt
, you’ll work with a wide range of clients—from commercial buildings to hospitals, schools, offshore platforms, and industrial facilities. Your work will make a direct impact on public health and safety across the UK.

In this hands-on and highly respected role, you’ll provide professional risk assessments and technical consultancy services. Your expertise will help clients meet their legal health & safety obligations while maintaining the highest water hygiene standards.

• Conducting complex hot and cold water system surveys
• Creating detailed, accurate reports and schematic drawings
• Providing technical consultancy aligned with relevant legislation (e.g. HTMs, Water Regs, British Standards)
• Offering expert advice and support to clients and internal teams
• Managing client relationships with professionalism and clarity
• Ensuring all work is completed to high standards and within agreed timescales

We’re seeking a proactive and technically minded professional who’s confident working independently and as part of a team.

• A strong practical knowledge of mechanical services and public health systems in buildings
• Proven ability to write clear, detailed technical reports
• A full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
• The right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance
• Degree level education and have City and Guilds WH004:
  Risk Assessment for Legionella and Water Hygiene Control in Water Systems, or Similar Risk Assessment Certification, Or have several years’ experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments.
  
  - Without previous experience in Legionella risk assessment, a strong practical knowledge of water services.
