Ian Farmer Associates, part of the RSK Group, is one of the UK’s leading ground investigation specialists. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Geologist to join our growing team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from local developments to large-scale national infrastructure schemes.

• Supervision of ground investigations, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
• Trial pitting / Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
• Project Management of ground investigations
• Production of Phase 1 Desk Studies
• Assistance in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports

• Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and work away from home
• CSCS Card & First Aid Training (SSSTS desirable)
• Based near Glasgow or willing to relocate
