About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E works on a large-scale commercial project. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the M&E package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with the main contractor, design team, consultants, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in the successful delivery and handover of the project.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works on site

* Oversee M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

* Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards

* Manage programme, budgets, variations, and risk for M&E packages

* Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and design changes

* Attend and lead coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders

* Monitor progress against programme and report to senior project management

* Manage commissioning, testing, and handover of M&E systems

* Ensure works comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards

M&E Project Manager Requirements

* Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on commercial projects

* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services

* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities

* Excellent understanding of construction programmes and cost control

* Strong communication and leadership skills

* Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment

* Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
