The Role

You will support the internal sales and estimating function while developing the technical and commercial knowledge required to progress into sales.

Key involvement includes:

Assisting with points lists and project estimates
Subcontractor pricing and vetting
Reviewing enquiries for technical and commercial compliance
Updating quotations in line with current pricing
Supporting tender and bid submissions

Responsibilities

Supporting targeting of consultants, contractors, and end users
Assisting with technical presentations and product promotion
Producing small T&M quotations (£50-£10K)
Supporting estimates for projects from £10K-£2M
Preparing technical enquiry documents
Providing sales activity reports and forecasts
Tracking enquiries, leads, and bids
Maintaining high customer service standards
Working in line with Health & Safety requirements

Skills & Experience

Experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
Strong attention to detail
Good organisational and time management skills
Able to work independently and within a team
Self-motivated and accountable
Strong communication and customer focus
Understanding of safe systems of work and H&S importance
