Job DescriptionAs a key member of our Building Technology Systems (BTS) team, you will design, manage, and deliver Smart Building solutions for large-scale projects, ranging from high‑rise towers to healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities- Lead Smart Building design and project management from concept to handover.
- Develop and deliver Smart, ICT, Audio Visual & System Integration design for projects of medium to large scale.
- Provide technical leadership on model‑based design and systems integration across architecture, engineering, and specialist consulting teams.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to interpret their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work cross‑functionally with specialists in Security, Lighting, ICT, BMS, AV, and other building systems to produce holistic Smart Building solutions.
- Champion future‑ready building solutions that enhance user experience, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
- Work on projects ranging from high‑rise buildings, data centres, and stadiums to transformative healthcare projects such as Monklands Hospital digital twin.
- Deliver specialist ICT and Smart Building consultancy to support clients across the built environment.
- Passion for the future of technology in the built environment and deep curiosity for its application.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Smart Building technology design and delivery, with proven experience in healthcare projects.
- Familiarity with NHP Smart Building guidelines, Gap analysis, and digital strategy for intelligent healthcare capabilities.
- Expertise in integrating building systems with enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and operational resilience.
- Strong knowledge of Smart Building rating systems (Smart Score, WELL, LEED, BREEAM) and relevant industry certifications.
- Chartered engineer (CIBSE / IET) or equivalent with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated leadership potential.
