Glasgow Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (negotiable depending on experience) Job Type: Permanent | Hybrid (2 days WFH) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer with bridge design experience to join a well-established, partner-led multidisciplinary consultancy based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a varied portfolio of infrastructure and rail-related bridge projects, ranging from smaller technical schemes through to larger, complex structures.

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team of circa 10 engineers locally, with access to wider in-house civil, geotechnical and transportation expertise nationwide. This role would suit a Chartered or near-Chartered Structural Engineer looking to make a real impact on high-profile projects while progressing their career in a supportive and flexible environment. - Position Overview Lead and deliver structural bridge designs across infrastructure and rail projects Undertake global structural modelling and analysis using MIDAS (or similar software) Design reinforced concrete and steel bridge elements including decks, girders, piers and abutments Produce calculations, drawings and technical reports in line with Eurocodes and UK standards Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, buildable solutions Support junior engineers and contribute to technical development within the team Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders as required Senior Structural Engineer - Requirements Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE or IStruct
