Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Transmission & Distribution
Location: Scotland, Glasgow

We are currently supporting a major infrastructure programme within the Scottish power and utilities market and are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of large-scale Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects across Scotland.

This role sits within a long‑term framework delivering critical national energy infrastructure and requires a commercially strong SQS with proven NEC experience.

• Full post‑contract commercial management of T&D and power infrastructure works
• Administration and management of NEC contracts
  , including compensation events and change control
• Cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting (CVRs)
• Subcontract procurement, account management, valuations and final accounts
• Managing variations, claims and commercial negotiations
• Working closely with project, engineering and client teams to ensure commercial compliance

• Demonstrable experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on power, utilities or major infrastructure projects
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Experience on transmission, distribution, substations or similar heavy infrastructure schemes highly desirable
• Robust post‑contract commercial background
• Ability to operate autonomously within complex, framework‑led environments
