An excellent opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with experience of commissioning electrical capital to join a global market leader in water treatment and filtration systems, offering full and comprehensive product training, excellent remuneration package, and opportunities for career progression.

The water treatment division is part of a global services and technology group, employing thousands of employees worldwide. Following expansion, they seek a customer-focused and technically motivated Field Commissioning Engineer responsible for commissioning newly installed water treatment and water filtration equipment at a wide range of customer premises throughout Scotland.

As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you ll lead the commissioning of cutting-edge water treatment systems, ensuring they meet technical standards and project timelines, transitioning equipment from mechanical completion to operational readiness, aligned with contract specifications and fostering client satisfaction.

• Work with our Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning process, from equipment handover to system activation, emphasising safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate commissioning activities, ensuring resources and equipment are optimised to meet project schedules.
• Engage in design reviews, contribute to control philosophies, risk assessments, and commissioning plans, and develop comprehensive documentation to support project execution.

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a strong background working with high value electrical-mechanical capital equipment, with an electrical qualification, and have experience commissioning equipment. Applications are welcome from engineers with a broad range of Electrical Service Engineering backgrounds, as full and comprehensive manufacturer-based training will be provided. Experience of working with water-based systems and knowledge of chemistry would be a bonus, but is not essential as training is thorough.
