About the job
As an Instrument & Process Control Technician at OSCABE you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our production processes. Your expertise in instrumentation and control systems will ensure that our operations run efficiently and safely. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will report to and work closely with the Calibrations and Controls Engineer

Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair process control systems and instruments
- Calibrate and validate measurement and control equipment
- Document maintenance activities and update equipment performance records
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
- Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade and optimize control systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
- Completed degree in Electrical Instrumentation, Process Control or a related field (HND minimum requirement)
- Prior experience in a similar role within a continuous manufacturing process environment
- Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation and automation equipment
- Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems and other control technologies
- Experience with process control project management
- Experience in control system design and software engineering
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly
- Willingness to work in shifts as required
