M&E Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E works on a large-scale commercial project. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the M&E package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the main contractor, design team, consultants, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in the successful delivery and handover of the project.

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works on site
• Oversee M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Manage programme, budgets, variations, and risk for M&E packages
• Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and design changes
• Attend and lead coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor progress against programme and report to senior project management
• Manage commissioning, testing, and handover of M&E systems
• Ensure works comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards

• Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on commercial projects
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities
• Excellent understanding of construction programmes and cost control
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
