Senior Structural Engineer

Due to a high demand in delivery of flowline work PD&MS Group have a requirement for a structural engineer to come on board on a full‑time on‑going contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

We are seeking candidates with previous experience in brownfield pipe support design incorporating bolted connections. Experience in use of STAAD Pro is essential.

• Identify the scope of work required
• Input to project plans and schedules.
• Identify areas of concern during any project or study.
• Produce cost‑effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
• Supervise the time of others

We’d like you to have a degree in a relevant subject and significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines. You need to have some experience and an interest in working with Auto Desk products.
